Discover Chester County: Tourism Talks

September 14, 2023 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM (EDT)

Description

Discover Chester County: Tourism Talks is an event designed to disseminate information directly to business leaders in our region, to generate excitement for area attractions, and to connect our local businesses together to ensure we all prosper from our growing tourism economy.

On September 14th, our group will be visiting the Lowrys area to learn more about tourism in North Chester. We'll enjoy lunch from Roddey's BBQ at the Lowrys Community Center and hear from Mayor Joey Wilson on the economic impacts of the famous Lowrys Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade. At noon, we'll board Dixon Motor Xpress, sponsored by Luck Stone, to head to Historic Brattonsville where we'll talk to them about their wonderful historic site in nearby York County. Next, we'll drop by Cotton Hills Farm for a sweet treat of ice cream and to learn more about agritourism before heading to Sky Dive Carolina to visit one of the busiest skydive centers in America! Thanks to sponsorships and discounts, tickets are only $15 and include your lunch, ice cream, bus tour, & admission to all three sites!
