We're excited to invite you to A Chester County Christmas: From Our Front Porch to Yours on Tuesday, December 16, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the Chester County Chamber of Commerce.

This will be our holiday gathering for partners, stakeholders, and friends of the Chamber, and this year the celebration comes with a milestone worth cheering for. At 5:15 PM, we’ll hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate the Chamber becoming an official partner of the Discover South Carolina Front Porch Program.

This statewide program connects local visitor centers and destination marketing organizations with South Carolina’s nine Welcome Centers and the Discover South Carolina brand. Designed to help communities amplify their reach, the Front Porch Program makes it easier for travelers across the state to discover the authentic experiences each community has to offer.

Through this partnership, Chester County will be able to:

• Share timely information about our events, attractions, and unique local experiences
• Highlight our destination to the millions of visitors who stop at South Carolina Welcome Centers
• Promote our county with expanded visibility and a stronger statewide presence
• Benefit from program training, resources, and expert support from SCPRT’s travel team
• Continue shaping a welcoming, visitor-ready environment rooted in genuine South Carolina hospitality

To round out the celebration, our holiday social will feature festive refreshments, great conversation, and time to connect with fellow partners and community members. During the event, you’ll also have a chance to see our new mural, meet the artist, and learn more about the inspiration behind the piece.
