The Katawba Valley Land Trust today announced that registration has officially begun for their anticipated Annual Meeting, set for Sunday, October 27^th, from 2 PM to 4 PM. This free member appreciation event will be held at the picturesque Landsford Canal State Park, located at 2051 Park Drive, Catawba, SC. The event is also open to the public who wish to join upon arrival by visiting the membership table.

During the festivities, memorial benches will be unveiled to honor Lindsay and Louise Pettus, founders of KVLT. Lindsay's efforts greatly expanded Landsford Canal State Park; his sister, Louise, was a Winthrop professor, historian, and author who echoed Lindsay’s passion and efforts.

Social hour starts at 2 PM, followed by the business meeting, which will begin promptly at 3 PM. The agenda for the business meeting includes a vote on the nominees for the Board of Directors.
