Description

We will start off the event with a quick tour of the herb garden and introduction to the medicinal herbs grown at Wild Hope Farm. Farmer/yogi/herbalist, Sarah Hinson will lead the workshop. We will talk through the various medicinal properties of the herbs grown and how to best use them (teas, oils, salves). We will then jump into the salve making workshop where we will melt wax and use previously created calendula oil (calendula was grown on the farm, dried and soaked in oil) as the base of the salve. Everyone will go home with their own salves and a sheet on how to make salves at home!
