The 1914 Jail on McAliley Street is home to the Museum Collections, including over 5,000 projective points, our gun collection which includes 80 long rifles and 35 hand guns dating from 1680 to the second Gulf War, lithograph of the Ordinance of Secession, Confederate War flags, the Aaron Burr Bench, and the Henry O. Nichols photography collection. - The Transportation Museum has an eclectic collection of surface transportation items in the 4,000 SF former Freight Depot of the Seaboard Rail Road. Built in 1888 and preserved by the Chester County Historical Society through a grant provided by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
